Previously, one of our customers in the Chemical Industry traditionally brought nitrogen onto site by tanker and was stored in large vessels. By carrying out a Free of Charge site survey we found savings were able to be made by installing a Nitrogen generator and producing their own nitrogen on site for the purging process.
Our customer placed an order and after a short lead time the Nitrogen generator was installed along with a desiccant dryer, filtration, and buffer vessel. The on-site nitrogen generation has transformed the site as they are now able to produce nitrogen directly at the manufacturing facility. Because of this, energy consumption associated with transportation and delivery is minimised. This energy-efficient approach not only reduces the carbon footprint but also contributes to cost savings, a win-win scenario for both manufacturers and the environment.
